My favourite place

I have written this book thinking in children from three years, I have tried to make it with different materials a lot of colours and very sensitive.

The story is about a child who feels sad and go travel in different places: a forest, under de sea, to the sky...

I put here some pictures.

In each place te child talk about his feelings in that place.

After the travel the child hug his family and feel much better.

With this book I want to explain that the best place for a child it is his/ her imagination.

I have made some activities for this book:

ACTIVITIES:

1º Put the pictures in the correct order.

2º Link the places of the book with something of these places.

3º Identify facial expressions positive and negative.

4º Draw a picture about their favourite places.

5º Talk about their feelings in some situations.

6º Create a favourite place all together and make a mural.

Venus of Velazquez

We' ll introduce the painting and the painter.

Then we show the painting to the children and they can talk and ask things about it.

We'll show the parts of the body while we observe our bodies.

After that we'll give some pictures with the image of the body and other with the name. First ww'll work in that only showing the pictures and the words.

When we finish that we'll play whit that, they have to put the picture with the correct word.

Finally we'll make a puzzle with the painting and the children have to put the name of the body in the correct place in the painting.
